Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom: The Tooth Fairy DVD

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom:

The Tooth Fairy DVD

& a Competition!

My two love Ben & Holly and were ecstatic when Entertainment One offered to send us  Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, The Tooth Fairy DVD to review.  It’s one of those lovely kids TV programmes that even I’m happy to sit and watch.

If you’d like a copy of this it is available to own for the RRP of £12.99 and it is a Cert U so you can rest assured that there’s no horribleness, all simply sweet, innocent entertainment!  Horrid Henry, eat your heart out! (If I ever meet that kid I’ll punch his lights out – which I won’t ever ‘cos he’s a cartoon, but you catch my meaning).  It was released on the 3rd October so it’s in the shops now!  Woot! Get your running shoes on!

Budding fairies and mischievous elves are invited into an enchanting little world that’s big on magic in Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom: the Tooth Fairy, the new DVD release from the BAFTA award winning animation.

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is a firm favourite on Nick jr and Channel 5’s Milkshake where boys and girls tune in every day to follow the adventures of Princess Holly and her best friend Ben Elf.  Holly is a young fairy who is still learning how to do magic properly.  Ben is an elf and elves don’t do magic, but they are very good at making things.  Along with their friends, Ben and Holly have lots of fun and exciting adventures playing together in the Little Kingdom.

Both my two were spellbound and I expect to have the DVD on repeat for quite some time – which as I said, is preferably to Horrible Henry which was their previous favourite.  *Kay growls  in a threatening manner*

Episode Listing – The elf Factory – Ben’s birthday Card – Books – Betty Caterpillar – Queen Holly – The Woodpecker – The Elf Band -the Ant Hill – Redbeard the Elf Pirate – The Tooth Fairy

Entertainment One have been kind enough to provide a copy to send out to one lucky winner.  All you have to do is subscribe to the blog and comment, telling me if you ever believed in the Tooth Fairy, and what you imagined she looked like.   I’ll put all your names into a hat & ask Sausage or Darlek to choose a winner. The competition will end on the 14th November, 2011.  Easy peasy!   Ready, steady……go!

I was given a copy of the DVD to review, no other financial reward was given.

  1. I really believed in the Tooth Fairy when I was small (I believed in EVERYTHING) I always thought she looked a bit like Tinkerbell, but she carried a big sack full of money and teeth around with her! I subscribe with GFC and by e mail 🙂

  2. Oh yes I did believe in the tooth fairy, and I imagined her to live in a very small house which was made of teeth, and sit on chairs made of teeth – all the cleanest brightest teeth were used, after they’d been cleaned and polished. The tooth fairy was small but very strong to carry the teeth home. She wore a little dress, white, like the teeth!

  3. we all liked to believe in the tooth fairy, only way we ever got any money to spend….oops!! Our youngest daughter was lead to believe by the 2 older boys that the tooth fairy came over from Arran on the ferry. (daft conversation you had to be there)…families are daft things some ties

  4. I had a much darker image, lol, more a witch-like fairy dressed in black with a sack over her back for the teeth!

  5. I believed in the tooth fairy but have an awful memory so cannot remember what she looked like. So I asked my daughter and she says she looks like a beautiful fairy and has a wand and wings and wears a pretty pink dress. She also says there is a knotty fairy who comes and dances in her hair at night and that is why it has knots in the morning, very cute!!

  6. Not sure if i ever believed in her or not. If I did I suspect she’d have looked exactly like me mum!

  7. I still believe in the tooth fairy… she is real isn’t she?? she has knobbly knees and turned out toes and something that looks like a wart on the end of her nose 😉

  8. are you telling me she doesnt exist then!!!! she is tiny with silvery wings:)

  9. I most definitely believed in the tooth fairy. She was pretty and kind and had pink sparkly wings, a pink tutu, pink sparkly shoes and she always left me a little note telling me how brave I was, funny how you remember these things many years on….

  10. im subscribed to blog…..ive always believed as a kids in too tooth fairy i thought she was a bit like the fairy on top of a xmas tree only rounder and much older with glasses and a big shining white smile 🙂

  11. I did believe in the tooth fairy and always imagined her to be a big plump woman in a big sparkly dress 🙂
My 4 kids all have completely different ideas of what the tooth fairy looks like, my eldest who’s 8 after watching the tooth fairy film had now convinced his little sister who’s 3 that the tooth fairy is actually a man haha xx

  12. I didn’t believe in the tooth fairy. I just used the tried and tested skill of extortion against my parents to get more money out of them – as long as it was left under my pillow at night. Yes, I was the snotty little kid

  13. I loved reading all these responses! The number randomly drawn was 1 so the winner is RedRoseMummy! Please contact me with your address so I can get this forwarded to you ASAP thanks :O)
